4DAYS BWINDI GORILLA SAFARI
Day 1, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will be picked up by our driver/guide who will drive you to the south western Uganda via Masaka. Stop over at Kayabwe at the equator for a look and stand at a point where you will be in 2 hemispheres. Here you can carry out souvenir shopping at the various craft shops. You will proceed, drive through Mbarara and will see the beautiful long horned Ankole cattle, stop over for lunch at the lake view hotel and after lunch you will proceed through Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth national park depending on the kind of weather and might luckily have a glimpse of the park’s wildlife probably the tree climbing lion. Drive on arriving in Bwindi national park in the evening. Observe the systematic cultivation of the Bakiga along the mountain slopes and enjoy the experience of what has been referred to as the Switzerland of Africa because of its cool nature. Proceed to Buhoma Community bandas/Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/Gorilla Forest Camp or Gorilla resort for dinner and over night stay.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Rwanda
Enjoy breakfast after which you will report to Ruhengeri park headquarters for briefing. The briefing will address gorilla tracking rules necessary for both yours and gorilla safety. Prepare yourself because gorilla tracking can be a challenging experience since you can walk for 1-6 hours before finding habituated gorillas. However, the certificate you will receive at the end of the tracking expedition will be make the trip worthwhile. On your gorilla tracking expedition you will most likely see other forest animals, birds and reptiles. Since the tracking can at times last for hours, it is advisable to organize packed lunch and plenty of water prior to the tracking. After gorilla tracking, return to Buhoma Community bandas/Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/Gorilla Forest Camp or Gorilla resort for dinner and over night stay.
Day 3: Second gorilla tracking 
Have breakfast, after which you will have a second day of gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. This is an opportune moment to see what you missed yesterday. After lunch have a guided nature walk in Bwindi forest. Bwindi ranks among Africa’s most biodiverse forests for it is extremely old (over 25,000 years) and its slopes extend over a broad altitudinal range supporting a wide variety of habitats of forest and vegetation. Its impressive biodiversity includes 350 bird species, 310 butterfly species, 51 reptiles, 200 trees, 88 moths and 120 mammal types including 10 primates like; red tailed and blue monkey, l’hoest, chimpanzee, black and white colobus and baboon. Return to Buhoma Community bandas/Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/Gorilla Forest Camp or Gorilla resort for dinner and over night stay.
Day 4: Back to Kampala
After breakfast drive back to Kampala with lunch enroute. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport to meet your home flight.
