Rwanda Gorilla Safari 5 Days

Day 1, Arrival and Transfer to your Hotel
Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be met by our company driver guide who will greet you and also brief you about your Safari and then after, you will transfer to your Hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Chez Lando/Kigali Serena Hotel at Akagera Lodge.

Day 2, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast at your Hotel in Kigali, You will leave for Parc Nationale des Volcanoes. You will pass through the beautiful terraced hillsides that show much of Rwanda’s landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome Virunga volcanoes; sometimes five peaks can be seen. Overnight and dinner at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge/Kinigi Guest House/Mountain Gorilla Lodge.

Day 3, Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast, report to the headquarters of Parc Nationale des Volcans at 08:00hours for briefing, After the briefing from the authorities of the park, set off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. It is advisable to organize packed lunch and plenty of water for this sometimes strenuous activity. Return for dinner and over night at your lodge

Day 4, Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast, you will go for a morning boat ride on the lake where you will have a chance to see a lot of bird species and different water loving animals on the lake shore.
Dinner and overnight at Kivu Sun Hotel

Day 5, Return to Kigali and departure
After breakfast, you will depart for Kigali where you will do a City tour and visit places like the market, a pottery project, handicraft shops, the Franco-Rwandan cultural centre, the Museum and the genocide memorial. Have lunch enroute and then Transfer to the airport reaching in time for your flight back home
