Below are the booking terms and Condition of Gorilla Trek Africa. These terms clearly set responsibility of the company and the traveler / client. Therefor once you confirm a safari with Gorilla Trek Africa, it means you accept the below terms and conditions.

CONFIRMATION OF A TOUR
Once you agree to a quotation and confirming to take a safari with us at Gorilla Trek Africa, we require you to pay 30% of the total tour cost to secure your safari gorilla permits.
During the peak season running from July to October a deposit of 40% of the total tour cost is required from the traveler so as to secure and reserve the gorilla trekking permits.
The balance should be paid before the start of the safari. Kindly note that full payment is required for bookings made within weeks of your safari.

GORILLA PERMITS
When you send through payments, your gorilla-tracking permit is purchased and if need be request for a scan copy to be sent to your email. Getting a gorilla permit is not a guarantee of seeing a gorilla. However, the chances of seeing them are 99%.
Local conditions sometimes mean that access to the gorillas is made impossible at short notice. We are unable to accept liability for any circumstance that might lead to gorilla viewing being cancelled, whether it is closure of the National Park or borders; absence of the gorillas; security changes. Refunds are at the discretion of the relevant authority and we cannot accept liability for them. Gorilla Trek Africa shall do their best to obtain a refund and if a refund is paid by the relevant authority, we shall pass it on to the client.

ACCOMMODATIONS
All accommodations in the different national parks according to your booked itinerary, room type(s) and specification are as shown in the itinerary. Any hotel adjustments should be done before confirmation of tour. Any changes during safari are liable to penalty.

COMPLAINTS DURING SAFARI
Incase of any complaint, please report it immediately your Safari Manager and booking agent. Gorilla Trek Africa will immediately attend to your issue and sort it. If you are not satisfied, you should submit a written report to the Manager/Supplier as soon as possible after the incident and it should not be later than 20 days after completion your holiday. This will allow us to investigate fully. Unfortunately we cannot accept any complaint not notified in accordance with this procedure.

INSURANCE
When planning to go to Africa for a holiday, its very important to arrange travel insurance in your country. Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness are advised not to participate in such rigorous travel programs. The insurance should cover death, injury, theft of the clients’ personal property and medical expenses. Activities with the greater risk such, as White water rafting and Mountaineering should be covered.

LUGGAGES
All personal belongings and luggage are at the passenger’s own risk.

WHAT IS INCLUSIVE IN OUR SAFARI QUOTATION
A safari quotation with us includes the cost of the gorilla trek and permit @$500 each, all accommodation, all ground transportation in private 4WD vehicles, full- time experienced English speaking safari guide and his associated expenses, All meals (except where B&B is denoted), Water and snacks in the vehicle, Entrances fees in National Parks, ranger guide fee, Chimpanzee tracking, boat/canoe rides, All applicable taxes and administration. BUT it EXCLUDES, International flights, Any items of personal nature i.e. drinks, laundry, telephone, souvenirs, visa fees porters at the gorilla trek, Travel / medical insurance, Gratuities for Guide/driver / hotel staff, Any extras not mentioned in the itinerary. Our safari prices are Full board.
The company reserves the right to vary the safari services agreed with the client in the event of unpredicted conditions, such as bad weather, road closures, vehicle condition, security issues. In such cases option arrangements will be made as situations permit.

CANCELLATION OF A SAFARI
All safari cancellations must be received in writing.
Cancellations received between the date of booking and 60 days prior to arrival will result in the loss of the deposit

PENALTY ON CANCELLATION
Cancellations received will be subject to the following forfeit of tour cost:
101 days and above 20%
61-100 days 30% of safari cost
46-60 days 50% of safari cost
16-45 days 80% of safari cost
0-15 days 100% of safari cost

MEALS
Meals are as shown in the itinerary. If you have any diet preferences please inform your travel consultant.
