11 Days Uganda Honeymoon Safari

Day1, Arrival
upon Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be Met and greeted by our company representative who will be your guide. You will be transferred to your respective accommodation facility in Kampala for dinner relaxation and an overnight.

Day 2, Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, set out and head to Murchison Falls National Park. Stop over at the famous Luweero Triangle and after proceed and reach in Masindi town in time for lunch at Masindi Hotel. After Lunch proceed to the park and upon arrival, visit the top of the magnificent falls and reach at the place where River Nile is farfetched into a seven-meter abyss to rumble 45 meters below. Check the series of cascades it forms, which can be viewed at different points up to the culmination. Next will be the dinner and overnight at Red Chilli camp/Sambiya River Lodge/Paraa Lodge / Nile safari Lodge

Day 3, Game drive and Launch cruise
After an early breakfast, you will go for a game drive. The Wildlife in the Murchison Falls National Park includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda Kobs, oribis and waterbucks. After the drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise which gives an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. It enables you to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge//Sambiya river lodge/Nile Safari Lodge

Day 4, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Depart Murchison falls and make a short drive to the recently discovered bird population of Puvel’s Illadopsis, a dowdy bird with an impressive voice. Proceed to Holman with stop over at papyrus swamps on the way where specialties such as White-winged Warbler and Papyrus Gooney can be found, while the surrounding scrub may harbor, Double-toothed Barbet, Black-bellied Seed cracker and Gray-headed Olive back. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Primate Lodge/Chimp Guest House

Day 5, Chimp Tracking and Nature/Forest Walk
Go for an early morning chimpanzee tracking in the forest and expect to see a lot of chimpanzees and other animals like the forest elephants, buffaloes, leopards, bush pig and duiker, lions, warthogs, reptiles and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies. Return to the guest house for lunch.  Afternoon visit Bigodi Swamp Eco site sanctuary for more primate and bird watching.Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Primate Lodge/Chimp Guest House

Day 6, Transfer to Semuliki National park
After breakfast visit Semuliki National park in Budibugyo.  Viewing the scenic Rwenzori Mountains, the hot springs and if possible the pygmies will make your honeymoon a memorable experience in your lifetime. Add a taste to your honeymoon by taking a Night game drive looking for the rare species leopard, Night jars and others. Inner and overnight at Semuliki Lodge

Day 7, Game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast in the morning, go for the morning game drive/nature walk, and then later drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge /Institute Hostel/Simba safari Camp/Hippo hill camp.

Day 8, Game drive and Launch cruise.
Have breakfast and take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game animals like the Big five. The drive will reward you with excellent views of Lake Edwards and Lake George and the Kazinga channel. In the game drive, expect elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, the Python, hyenas, warthogs, birds’ hippos etc.   Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast and then have lunch. In the after noon you will go for   a boat -cruise along Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to get exposed to a bird sin abundance both typical and migrants and the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Jacana Lodge/Institute of Ecology Hostel/Hippo hill camp.

Day 9, Chimpanzee tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early after breakfast, transfer to Kyambura gorge for a chimpanzee tracking tour. You will drive through the grassland area. Trek into Kyambura River Gorge for an odd; experience hiking chimpanzees. It’s so paying to see the river valley, home of many bird and butterfly species.  Rangers will provide the necessary information about the gorge and then later you will return to your lodge for lunch and after transfer to Bwindi national park via the Ishasha sector which is commonly known for its tree climbing lions. You will have a game drive here and after transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Buhoma community bandas/Lake Kitandara Lodge

Day 10, Honeymoon with gorillas
After an early morning breakfast you will go for gorilla tracking. During tracking you will be able to see other primates like lhoest monkey, black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and many others. In the evening you will go for a guided forest walk. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Buhoma community bandas/Lake Kitandara lodge

Day 11, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, set off for Kampala with lunch en route reaching Kampala city in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel/Lodge
