Day 1, Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala/Entebbe, you will be met by Our driver/guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala after breakfast. You will be driven through Mityana and Mubende to Fort portal. Have lunch enroute probably in Fort portal. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge/Chimp’s Nest.
Day 2, Chimpanzee tracking
Have a morning breakfast and depart for the chimp tracking in Kibale forest National Park. along the walks you may sport chimps, white colobus monkeys, , grey-checked mangabey, red colobus, black-and-white colobus, Baboons and chimpanzees bird species such as the great blue turacco, Africa pied king fisher , malkites. In the afternoon, go for the Forest/Nature walk in the Bigodi swamp. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge/Chimp’s Nest.
Day 3, Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi national park via the Ishasha sector of queen Elizabeth national park. You will most likely view the tree climbing lion on this route. Have lunch enroute, reaching Bwindi in the evening after a long day’s drive. On arrival, check into Gorilla Resort/Bwindi view guest house/Buhoma community bandas for dinner and overnight.
Day 4, gorilla tracking
After breakfast, you will be going for briefing prior to tracking the habituated mountain gorillas. It is on this briefing that the gorilla tracking code of conduct is addressed. You must brace yourself because gorilla tracking can be a challenging experience since you can walk for 1-6 hours before finding habituated gorillas. However, the certificate you will receive at the end of the tracking expedition will be make the trip worthwhile. On your gorilla tracking expedition you will most likely see other forest animals, birds and reptiles. Since the tracking can at times last for hours it is advisable to organize packed lunch and plenty of water prior to the tracking. After gorilla tracking return to Gorilla Resort/Bwindi view guest house/Buhoma community bandas for dinner and overnight.
Day 5, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast drive back to Kampala with a brief stop over at the equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Proceed to Kampala and have dinner and overnight stay at your Hotel
